General Info:

Music Together® offers singing, dancing, chanting, and instrument playing in an informal setting for children, newborns through kindergarten. These parent-child classes are offered year round, 6 days a week.

The non-performance oriented program began as an educational project of the Center for Music and Young Children at Princeton, New Jersey, and assists children in developing basic music competency during the critical learning period of early childhood. Based on the premise that all children are musical and have an innate ability to learn music, Music Together® is designed to nurture a child’s natural enthusiasm for music and movement.

Parents do not have to be skilled musicians. In fact, the program emphasizes enthusiastic participation over getting the notes right.
